Dr. Connor received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular and Cell Biology with an emphasis in Neurobiology from the University of California, Berkeley, in the San Francisco Bay area. He then traveled to the east coast for his optometric training, receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) University School of Optometry in Worcester, Massachusetts, and completing a residency in ocular disease with the VA New Jersey Healthcare System in East Orange, New Jersey. He then came back west to California to practice optometry in Riverside, Wildomar, and Temecula, California, before joining Inland Eye Specialists in 2018.
Dr. Connor provides each of his patients with comprehensive optometric care, including contact lens fittings, ocular disease management and treatment, and dilated retinal exams. Many patients suffering eye trauma have benefited from Dr. Connor’s ability to treat trauma-related cases, including contact lens-related disorders like corneal ulcers. He also provides pre- and post-surgical management for patients who have undergone cataract extraction or LASIK, while working directly with our MDs on staff.
Outside of the office, Dr. Connor is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is a member of the California Optometric Association and Beta Sigma Kappa – the International Optometric Honor Society.
