Jonathan M. Geller O.D.

"Eye care can be greatly enhanced by establishing a bond between doctor and patient. In order to best understand a patient's visual needs, I must first understand my patient as a person and then great things can happen."

Dr. Jonathan Geller received his Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and his Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Dr. Geller was the founder of Golden Triangle Optometrics and has practiced in Murrieta since 1991. He joined our practice in 2011 when his practice became part of Inland Eye Specialists.

Dr. Geller provides comprehensive, therapeutic eye care for children and adults. He particularly enjoys working with Laser Vision Correction patients with whom he has worked extensively since the F.D.A. originally approved LASIK. He also served as Director of Clinical Research at CooperVision, a specialty contact lens manufacturer.

Dr. Geller has worked closely with his community having served as Chairman of the Board of the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce as well as a Board member for Southwest Riverside County and Murrieta Rotary Clubs. He has been involved with local schools, participating in children’s vision screening programs. Dr. Geller sees patients primarily at our Murrieta offices.

“I was raised in a family of optometrists and learned from a young age that being an eye doctor meant spending your career relating to people. Eye care can be greatly enhanced by establishing a bond between doctor and patient. In order to best understand a patient’s visual needs, I must first understand my patient as a person and then great things can happen.

This is especially true with LASIK; the art and science of designing a technological treatment for an individual’s unique sense of vision and perception. I pride myself on providing this level of personalized care to every one of my patients at every visit.”
