Thank you so much for having Dr. Phillips on your staff. He performed eyelid surgery on my right eye on May 22. The nurses were great and so was Dr. Phillips. The report came back that the cancer had been removed. The doctor took the stitches out today and the eye looked great.
I will recommend Inland Eye Specialists to everyone I know. I was treated with the best of care.

Thanks for the best pair of glasses I've ever owned. It's nearly a year later & I'm still impressed. Spending all day in front of a computer screen is a pleasure especially with the anti-reflective coating on the lenses. For those of you who may read this letter and are interested in the laser vision correction, hey go for it!
My surgery was handled so perfectly by Dr. Duffin and his staff. They really took some time to examine my eyes so that they could see if I would be a good candidate for this surgery. And I was!
The surgery was a piece of cake. I was driven to the surgery site in San Diego by a girlfriend. Everything was ready to go when I arrived, and they gave me some Valium beforehand so I was nice and relaxed. The doctor explained everything as we went through the procedure. It was not painful, and I was worried that it might be. It only took about 30 minutes to do both eyes. After the surgery, I could see across the room, read a clock, see my friend (and she got to watch the surgery on a screen in her room... she was amazed at the whole thing!).
They covered my eyes with little shields and gave me some drops to take for the next few weeks. I wore the shields for that first day so I wouldn't rub my eyes. My only problem was, I wanted my friend to stop at Nordstrom's on the way home or maybe a quilt shop since I love quilting. I told her I wouldn't try to "look" at anything, I'd just sniff. She didn't buy it and took me home. I did really well at home, and my eyes felt pretty good. The next morning I took off the shields and couldn't believe how well I could see! It was a true highlight of my life, and I thank God and Dr. Duffin and his staff.
I am 53 years old, and had not been able to see clearly since I was probably 5 years old. I even had astigmatism and a slightly dry eye. So it was great that I could have this done for my sight.
It has been about a month now since the surgery. All systems are a go, and no problems. I can see about 20/20. And I can't adequately describe the richness of my vision. Not only can I see distance well, but I can see color and sharpness of vision that I never knew existed, since before I was always looking through the glasses or contact lenses. Now everything and every color is sharp and clear. I just can't stop "looking" at the world.
I hope this letter will help those who read it and be an appropriate "Thank you" to Dr. Duffin and his staff.
