"During medical school I became fascinated with the whole visual process and the technological advancements that were being made in eyecare, and this led me to the field of ophthalmology. I eventually decided to specialize in pediatric ophthalmology because I really enjoy taking care of children and helping correct their vision problems.
"Oftentimes, children are either nervous, anxious or shy prior to their eye exam or surgery, so I provide them with the warmth and friendliness that can ease their fears and make their care a positive experience."
